The LSU AgCenter Louisiana Arborist Continuing Education Program is offered as a service to state licensed tree care professionals (arborists) to satisfy their annual continuing education requirements. Each one-day educational session offers approximately 6.5 content hours. These sessions satisfy Louisiana requirements to stay compliant. License holders must attend a continuing education session annually in order to renew their license.

The program offers sessions in-person at locations around the state, and our program offers virtual options as well.

In Person:
Doors open for registration / check-in at 7:30 a.m.
The program begins at 8 a.m.

In-Person Registration includes a provided lunch and refreshments.

Virtual:
Some trainings will have a virtual (online) option through Microsoft Teams. Virtual participants must attend the entire session to qualify for license renewal. Virtual attendees must use a tablet or desktop computer with a camera and sound. You must also have access to reliable, adequate wi-fi. You may not attend the session by telephone.

Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m.

To register for this session you must agree to the following terms and conditions.

Refund Policy:
Registrations are not refundable.

Late Registration Notice:
After August 29, 2025, the price of registration will go up by $50.

Notice of Cancellation Fee:
When cancelling your registration a 25% fee is now required for processing. When cancelling a registration you will receive a refund of your ticket price minus the 25% fee.

Notice of Fee for Changing Sessions:
Please be sure you register for the correct session. If you need to change your registration to another date or format for any reason, you must cancel your current registration and a refund of your ticket price minus a 25% processing fee will be issued. You may then register yourself for an alternate session.

Attendee Conduct:
Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner throughout the duration of the session. Individuals who do not conduct themselves appropriately will be removed from the session and will not receive any refund of their registration fee.

Violence will not be tolerated and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
