The LSU AgCenter Pesticide Safety and Education Program has developed the Drone Safety Program to prepare and support drone pilots who wish to become certified for UAV pesticide application within the state of Louisiana.

The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) requires this pre-certification course before granting commercial certification to apply pesticides by UAV.

Upon completion of this self-paced Moodle-based program a certificate of completion will be sent to the LDAF.

This training program is a self-paced course using the Moodle platform. Once your registration is processed, a special link and a password to enter the Moodle platform will be sent to the email address that you provided.

To be able to use the Moodle Learning Platform you must have a Google account. This is a requirement to authenticate you as a user.
