Pesticide Applicator Pre-Certification Online preparation course for passing the General Standards Exam needed for Private or Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification in Louisiana.

This online, module-based training course includes 12 chapter training modules that are designed to help prepare interested individuals who wish to take the General Standards or Private Pesticide Applicator Certification Exam to become certified pesticide applicators in Louisiana.

The course should be used as a supplement to the National Pesticide Applicator Certification Core Manual, 2nd Ed. This manual can be purchased at the LSU AgCenter's Online Store National Pesticide Applicator Certification Core Manual page. It is essential to have this book as one progresses through this Moodle course as the course follows along with this manual.

This training can be done at the participant’s own pace and progresses through the CORE manual, one chapter at a time. This course also includes practice exam questions similar to the ones that they will see on the real exam (which you must schedule to take with the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry). Instructions as to how to do this will be given in the Moodle course, itself.

The objective for this training course is for educational purposes only and does not guarantee passage of the actual exam (at LDAF) but is designed to assist you in preparing to more easily pass this exam.
