About this training
This training event is for those individuals who wish to become a Certified Private Pesticide Applicator in the state of Louisiana (or in Louisiana tribal areas). Please select your preferred testing location using the "Options" dropdown box, provide the name(s) of the person(s) registering for the certification program and set the number of people you are registering in the "Quantity" field before adding to your cart. This training does require the purchase of specially discounted study materials as outlined below.
Program Information:
Please watch this 6 minute video description of the Private Pesticide Applicator Certification Program prior to purchasing your registration.
During the two weeks after you purchase/register for this training, you will need to purchase both the required National Pesticide Applicator Certification CORE Manual to study and a pesticide applicator record keeping book. Both publications are required for this program and available in the LSU AgCenter Online Store.
The maximum amount of time to complete this course at your scheduled training location is approximately four hours. However, studying the materials that are included with the course, and use of the practice exams throughout the core manual may significantly reduce the amount of time required to complete your training and examination.
Required Study Materials:
This program requires the printed versions of both the National Pesticide Applicator Certification Manual and Record Keeping for Pesticide Applicators. Both may be purchased from the LSU AgCenter Online Store and either shipped or can be picked up from our office in Baton Rouge.
Several other digital study guides will be sent to the email address provided with your program registration here.
Special Offer on Required Study Materials
Upon registering for this course you will receive a discount code for 75% OFF the following required printed study materials for this certification program. Both publications must by in your cart for the discount code to work during checkout in the LSU AgCenter Online Store.
Shipping is not included. No refunds will be offered for printed study materials discounted with this program registration.
